Pan-searing the cauliflower wings provides a crispy exterior while keeping the inside tender and moist. Unlike traditional deep-frying, this cooking method requires less oil, making it a healthier option without sacrificing flavor or texture. Plus, it’s quick and easy, making it perfect for satisfying those spontaneous cravings or impressing guests at your next gathering.
Rinse the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets, ensuring they're relatively uniform in size. This will help with even cooking
In two mixing bowls combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper and any additional spices you´d like to add.
Prepare the plant based milk in another mixing bowls.
Toss each cauliflower floret in the flour mix first, then the plant based milk and then in flour again ensuring it's evenly coated on all sides.
Heat a pan witg cooking oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the battered cauliflower florets in the skillet, leaving space between each piece to prevent overcrowding.
Pan-sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Once the cauliflower is cooked to crispy, remove it from the skillet and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Add your favorite wing sauce and toss until the cauliflower is evenly coated. You can use classic buffalo sauce, barbecue sauce, teriyaki sauce, or any other flavor you prefer.
Mix coriander leaves with a bit of water until smooth.
Mix the vegan mayonnaise with mixed coriander leaves, soy sauce and rice vinegar you get a smooth vegan dip sauce.
